The Challenge

Curwensville Area School District relies on district vans for transportation and is responsible for ensuring that bi-annual inspections are up to date and that all vehicles remain safe to operate. However, tracking inspection due dates across multiple vehicles proved to be a logistical challenge. The district needed a more efficient and reliable method to manage inspection schedules and maintain ongoing vehicle safety.

The Solution

Curwensville Area School District reached out to Edulink’s Comply Support Team, building on their previous success using the platform to track monthly drills, such as fire and severe weather drills, with the hopes of streamlining the van inspection process similarly. They created recurring compliance items with set due dates requiring staff to upload proof of inspection for each vehicle. Once an item is approved, the system automatically begins a new cycle for the next inspection deadline. This was essential for keeping everyone informed about inspection timelines and upcoming due dates.
