The Challenge

Each school year, Local Education Agencies (LEAs) across Pennsylvania are tasked with administering state assessments, including the PSSA and Keystone exams.

A critical component of this process involves ensuring that all personnel involved in administering these tests receive proper proctor training.

The Solution

To meet this requirement efficiently and effectively, the Westmont Hilltop School District uses Edulink’s Comply State Mandates and Compliance Tracking Software.

Comply is an innovative solution designed to simplify the training process and ensure compliance with state mandates. Using the online platform, the district can assign training modules to proctors and monitor their progress seamlessly. Notifications and reminders are sent to proctors, prompting them to complete their training before the designated due date, thus keeping everyone on track. Once proctors complete their training, they can easily upload their certificates of completion for review and approval, and submit the Act 48 hours to PERMS.

This streamlined process not only aids in compliance monitoring, but it also alleviates the burden of manual tracking, allowing school staff to focus more on their essential duties.

Westmont PSSA/Keystone Test Administrator Training (PSTAT) Form

Westmont Hilltop School District’s implementation of Comply has provided a more efficient and organized approach to proctor training, further ensuring that all assessments are administered in accordance with state guidelines, while enhancing operational efficiency within the district.

“Using Comply to track our training and follow up with educators who have not met the deadline eliminates the hassle and perceived “nagging” aspect of my job. We can see and follow up with emails to all the educators who have expired pieces of training.”
