The NEW Volunteer Module of Comply saves you time and effort by automating volunteer management all in one place. The add-on module streamlines the entire process. It enables LEAs to auto-assign compliance items (with recurrence when needed) and provides easy access to reports of approved volunteers. What’s more, it will track and manage different types of volunteers, such as parents/guardians, coaches, etc.
And being part of Comply, it’s fully compliant with state and district requirements. The module can be added to your current Comply subscription or purchased separately.
How it Works
A prospective volunteer uses a token to register for an account on Comply. An account is created, and compliance items are automatically assigned to the volunteer. The prospective volunteer then completes the required compliance items, uploading evidence and completing forms and trainings as needed. Once all items are complete, the volunteer submits their packet for approval. Volunteers can check their status throughout the entire process.
From that point, recurrence due dates automatically kick in for background check clearance renewals (every five years).
Volunteer Compliance Items
The list of required compliance items for volunteers to complete is customizable, depending upon what the state and LEA require. Potential compliance items include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Acknowledgement / Policy review
- Emergency contact information
- Clearances
- PA criminal history
- PA child abuse
- Federal criminal history or affidavit
- Act 126 Child Abuse Training
- TB test results
- Reportable offenses
- Other items for volunteer coaches
