We know it has been a challenge to conduct your day-to-day operations during the COVID-19 pandemic and thought you might appreciate some of the ways that Comply has been helping educators stay on track.

Health and Safety Plan

PDE released guidance protocols for the reopening of schools for 2020-2021, requiring school entities to have a comprehensive Health and Safety Plan. Use Comply to ensure your staff are informed about your district’s reopening Health and Safety Plan. Build a compliance item that shares critical information with your staff and require an electronic sign-off. If desired, build a questionnaire in Comply and attach it to this item, giving your employees an opportunity to ask questions and provide feedback. Learn more about the PDE Guidelines for Reopening.

Zoom/Go-To/Webinar In-service Days

Set up and organize in-service activities within Comply that contain everything that your staff needs (i.e., agendas, feedback forms, zoom/go-to meeting links, etc.) and when the meeting is over, quickly and easily submit Act 48 hours directly to PERMS.

Digital Signatures

Provide important documents, surveys, notices, etc., to the dashboard of each staff member within Comply where they can electronically provide feedback and a digital signature.

Clearance Tracking

Track dates and ensure staff renew their clearances on time, including the three background checks and state-mandated trainings like Child Abuse/Mandated Reporter.

Professional Development

Offer district-specific professional development to your teachers. With Comply you can organize professional development, assign to teachers, monitor completion, gather feedback, and submit Act 48 hours directly to PERMS. The following are recent examples of professional development that clients are using Comply to facilitate…

  • Google Classroom Training
  • Google Educator Certification
  • Zoom Training
  • Screen Recording Training
  • Classroom Observation Training
  • Online Support for Distant Learning
  • Act 80 Lesson Plans

Paperless Requests

Take traditional paper requests forms and make them electronic. Any form (i.e., credit approval, field trip, work order, conference request, comp time, etc.) can be completed and submitted for approval within Comply.

 Important Notice Regarding Clearances

This year, 2020, marks the end of the initial five-year period for many educators to renew their three background check clearances. As noted above, many districts are using Comply to facilitate the renewal of these clearances. With Comply, districts have the ability to track dates, provide detailed directions, and send multiple reminders to staff about completing their clearances on time. Additionally, end users can upload their new certificates into Comply so that districts can verify renewal and print a copy for their records. This feature has proven to be helpful and convenient during this time when employees are working remotely from home.
