The Challenge
The Meyersdale Area School District needed a method to track and ensure staff compliance with Pennsylvania’s Act 55 School Safety and Security requirements.
The Solution
In response to the new updates from the state, Edulink created pre-built templates for the mandated trainings required under Act 55. Districts can select and customize these templates to meet their needs. Templates link directly to the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency (PCCD) training and optionally guide staff to review district policies. They also help collect evidence of staff training completion.
Meyersdale added annual recurrence to their templates, ensuring that their staff completes trainings every year. This feature allows easy tracking of yearly completions within Comply.
