The Challenge

Wallingford-Swarthmore School District (WSSD) faced several challenges with its evaluation systems. The district relied on multiple, disconnected tools to manage evaluations across different employee groups, creating inefficiencies and inconsistencies. In addition, district leaders identified a gap in their ability to effectively set performance goals and conduct meaningful evaluations for cabinet-level administrators. Seeking a more cohesive approach, WSSD wanted to consolidate its evaluation processes into one centralized platform that could be customized to support the unique needs of all staff roles throughout the district.

The Solution

To address these challenges, Wallingford-Swarthmore School District partnered with PAETEP to develop customized evaluation forms designed specifically for cabinet-level administrators, ensuring that leadership responsibilities, performance goals, and evaluation criteria were accurately captured within the platform. These tailored forms were integrated directly into PAETEP, creating a centralized, accessible, and user-friendly evaluation process for all stakeholders.

Throughout the implementation, the district benefited from the outstanding PAETEP support team, whose responsiveness, professional expertise, and adaptability helped ensure the solution met WSSD’s evolving needs. By working closely with district leaders, the PAETEP team provided timely assistance, shared best practices, and refined the system as requirements changed. As a result, WSSD successfully eliminated multiple disparate evaluation tools and established a streamlined, transparent evaluation framework that supports all employee groups, including executive leadership, within a single, cohesive system.
